Study cards in 3x5 and 4x6 with Leitner box dividers and flashcards
Spend your study time on what you have not learned yet, one small card at a time.
Overview
Study cards help students and adult learners remember more with active recall instead of endless rereading. The 26 page PDF holds 3 x 5 in vocabulary, Q&A front and back, formula, definition and diagram, timeline, language and mistakes to review cards, along with 4 x 6 in Cornell, concept map and exam topic summary cards, a Leitner box guide with tabbed dividers and a spaced repetition tracker. Every card is an exact index card size with crop marks, in US Letter and A4, as an instant download with nothing shipped.
Print the types you need, cut them out and file them in a card box for calm, steady revision.
How study cards make revision stick
Put a single idea on each card and quiz yourself from the front. The Leitner box pages tell you which cards are due on any given day, so your effort goes where your gaps are. Every front carries a tiny Leitner tracker, and the mistakes to review card turns wrong answers from tests into cards you keep practicing until you get them right.
The Q&A question and answer pages match up when you print on both sides, and a duplex alignment test on pages 6 and 7 lets you check your printer before you load card stock. No dates are printed, so you can reprint any card type for each class, course or language.

Questions
Questions about the study cards
Do the study cards fit a normal card box?
Yes. They are exact 3 x 5 in and 4 x 6 in index card sizes, so once cut they fit a standard box of either size. The box itself is not included.
How do I make sure fronts and backs line up?
Print the duplex alignment test on pages 6 and 7 first. It has a target cross and a 1 mm ruler so you can check your printer before using card stock.
Do the cards come filled in with subject content?
No. They are blank templates for your own notes, with study tips but no subject material.
What card stock should I use?
Card stock between 65 and 110 lb (175 to 300 gsm) works well. Print at actual size and cut on the crop marks.
