Overview

Sailing log pages give skippers, crew and weekend sailors one calm, well organized record of each passage, day sail and harbor they visit. There are 45 undated pages. At the heart are 12 passage and day sail logs, every one followed by an hourly deck log. Around them sit a boat profile, an inventory of sails and gear, a record of skills and certificates, a crew list, safety and departure checklists, a passage planner, a provisioning list, logs for maintenance, engine, fuel and water, and notes on anchorages. Download instantly as a US Letter or A4 PDF.

Leave the dock with a clear plan, and come home with a record worth reading again.

How this sailing log brings calm to every passage

On each passage page you note where you left and where you were headed, the times, distance, average speed, engine hours and who was skipper and crew. Conditions come next: wind, sea state, sky, sails set, course and barometer. Lines for the route, waypoints and times, a dotted box to sketch the chart, notes, a star rating, your mooring and a skipper signature finish it off.

Facing it, the hourly deck log offers 20 rows for time, course, speed, log reading, wind, barometer, sea, sails or engine, position, remarks and who held the watch. Engine service intervals and the fuel and water records show what is due and how much the boat actually consumes, and the pre-departure checklist turns casting off into an easy routine. Since nothing is dated, you can print fresh log pages for each passage or season.
